Rushaa Louise Hamid

Special Projects Manager from May 2018 to June 2020, Rushaa worked for Survation in numerous capacities since 2015, and continuously since August 2017 leading on faith, ethnicity, and other minority group research projects and analysis at Survation. Prior to joining Survation, Rushaa worked as a researcher in a variety of fields in both the UK and Sudan. She holds an MA in Politics & Society from Maastricht University, in the Netherlands, where she graduated cum laude and a BA in Politics from SOAS, University of London.



Rushaa leads on faith, ethnicity, and other minority group research projects at Survation, building on the work of our Jewish Panel to advance techniques to better capture minority population opinion within the UK. She is experienced in qualitative research, thematic coding and analysis, and research design, as well as in-depth interview participant selection and conduction for harder to access populations such as minorities-within-minorities groups.
