Every year since 2021, Survation has conducted polling of employees paid less than the real Living Wage for the Living Wage Foundation, exploring how well they’re coping financially, wellbeing, foodbank use, amongst other topics. Survation has also conducted brand awareness research to assess the level of awareness and knowledge the general public has of the Living Wage and Living Wage Employer accreditation.

Previous work

1st September 2025 – Survation conducted an online poll of 2,131 UK residents aged 18+ on their awareness of the Living Wage brand on behalf of Living Wage Foundation. Fieldwork was conducted 14th – 16th July 2025. Tables are available here.

17th October 2024 – Survation conducted an online poll of 2,006 adults aged 18+ in the UK who are paid below the living wage on behalf of Living Wage Foundation. Fieldwork was conducted between 18th July-14th August 2024. Tables are available here.

12th December 2023 – Survation conducted an online poll of 2,023 UK workers aged 18+ on behalf of the Living Wage Foundation. Fieldwork was conducted between 11th-12th December 2023. Tables are available here.

28th April 2023  Survation conducted an online poll of 2,023 UK workers aged 18+ on behalf of the Living Wage Foundation. Fieldwork was conducted between 27th and 28th April 2023. Tables are available here.
