Survation and RenewableNI worked together to poll residents in all Northern Irish council areas on their views towards developments of different renewable energy technologies, their priorities regarding the benefits of renewables, and views on the target to achieve 80% of energy coming from renewable sources by 2030.

Previous work

1st September 2025 – Survation conducted an online poll of 1,801 residents aged 18+ in Northern Ireland on behalf of RenewableNI on their views on renewable energy. Fieldwork was conducted between 24th January – 14th February 2024. Tables are available here.
