We have collaborated with RenewableUK several times on polling the UK public on their views towards energy infrastructure and renewables. Topics covered include the development of new energy infrastructure for decarbonisation, renewable energy projects, and how different benefits affect their support or opposition towards these projects. We have also surveyed the UK on their attitudes towards political parties and renewable energy.

Previous work

9th August 2023 – Survation conducted an online poll of 1,039 adults aged 18+ in the UK on behalf of RenewableUK. Fieldwork was conducted on 14th July 2023. Tables are available here.

6th July 2022 – Survation conducted an online poll of 1,007 people aged 18+ in East Anglia on behalf of RenewableUK. Fieldwork was conducted between 30th of March and 5th of April 2022. Tables are available here.

22nd February 2022 – Survation conducted an online poll of 1,008 people aged 16+ living in Scotland, on behalf of RenewableUK, on public attitudes towards political parties and renewable energy. Fieldwork was conducted between 26th-28th January 2022. Tables are available here.

13th October 2021 – Survation conducted an online poll of 2,030 people aged 18+ in the UK, on behalf of RenewableUK, on their views around onshore windfarms. Fieldwork was between 5th – 15th July 2021. Tables can be found here.
