Graduate Perspectives on the Samuel Leeds Academy
Survation conducted a survey on behalf of Samuel Leeds between the 19th August and the 10th September aimed at understanding the attitudes of those who had previously enrolled in the Samuel Leeds Academy. The research involved interviewing 187 Samuel Leeds Academy graduates and enrollees, asking them questions on topics relating to their experience with the academy. The questions ranged from their post-graduation successes and failures to their understanding of property and their view of the course and its structure.
Survation was given the email addresses of those who had been enrolled in the course from 2020 to 2025. We then reached out to Samuel Leeds Academy members and graduates via email and also provided QR codes for respondents to access the survey at in-person Samuel Leeds Academy events.
The results…
Once fieldwork had concluded, results showed that 86% of graduates had done a property deal since joining the academy, with a majority of respondents (70%) saying it took them less than 6 months to secure their first property deal. Of the 86% who had done property deals, over half (53%) said that they have fully recovered their financial investment in the Samuel Leeds Academy through property deals, with a further 25% saying they were on track to make back their investment. Of those who had not done a property deal since joining, 86% said that they were confident in making back their investment in the academy.
With regard to property knowledge, an overwhelming majority of respondents (97%) said they felt they had a better understanding of property since joining the academy, with 95% saying they felt more confident taking action in property since joining the Samuel Leeds Academy.

On the course structure itself, a majority of respondents felt that in-person live events were the most effective teaching format (68%), followed by 1-2-1 mentoring sessions (58%). Additionally, of the events that are a part of the academy, a substantial majority of respondents felt academy dinners were most helpful (96%), followed by Inner Circle meetup events (91%).
