Labour polling at their lowest point since the General Election, as Conservatives overtake and Greens catch up.

Labour have fallen into third place in Survation’s Westminster Voting Intention, polling at 18% (-3), their lowest since the General Election. They are overtaken by the Tories on 20%. And the Greens record their highest share since the 2024 General Election.

Reform have held on to their lead over the main parties at 31% (+2) following on from the defections of Robert Jenrick, Andrew Rosindell and Suella Braverman to the party. This has not seemingly damaged the Tory party’s polling, yet, scoring 20% (+1).

Labour’s 2024 voter coalition has nearly halved.

Labour’s 2024 voting coalition has fractured massively. They currently hold on to only 54% of the voters they won in 2024. And no single party is the main beneficiary – Reform takes 15%, Greens 13% and the Liberal Democrats 10%.

Greens see their highest voting intention figures this parliament

The Greens now score 12%, bringing them level pegging with the Liberal Democrats in a fight for fourth place. The popularity and media performances of new leader Zack Polanski seem to be translating into growing support, now at its highest this parliament. This suggests the greens lack of movement at the start of the year does not appear permanent

As Labour approach the upcoming Gorton and Denton by-election without Andy Burnham as their candidate, the national picture at least paints a rather bleak picture for their prospects in an environment where the other parties appear to be “eating their lunch”.
