About the role
We are looking for a Trainee Research Executive, to support our busy and growing research department.
This is an entry level role into data and market research, with training provided for all aspects of quantitative and qualitative market research.
You will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders, developing and supporting accounts and running diverse projects. You must have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Questionnaire design.
Project management of research projects.
Data checking and reporting (scripting survey links, monitoring quotas, survey, data checking, collecting background data/ secondary research on relevant topics).
Liaising with project stakeholders to drive efficiency, timelines, and feedback.
Managing communications with external suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time.
Support Client Account Managers with writing engaging reports that answer client’s key business questions.
Attending client meetings with Client Account Managers and other senior members.
Skills and Attributes Required
Understanding of / interest in UK politics, social issues and current affairs.
The ability to work under pressure, prioritise among multiple tasks, and use own initiative.
Flexible, can-do attitude.
Willingness to undertake tedious tasks as well as interesting ones.
Interpersonal skills – ability to work within a small team and communicate with clients and suppliers.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Perform work accurately and effectively with high attention to detail.
Be literate and proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
