UK Political Polling: Conservatives hold four-point lead over Labour

Survation’s latest UK politics poll, conducted 5th-6th October  2020, sees the Conservatives holding a four-point lead over Labour, 41% to  37%, compared to a two-point lead (40% – 38%) in our two previous polls of 2nd-4th and 15th-16th September 2020.

Keir Starmer continues to lead Boris Johnson in our party leaders approval ratings, with a net favourability rating of +5%, to Johnson’s -14%. However, Starmer has seen a five-point reduction in his net ratings in the past few weeks, and while his favourability remains stable at 37% (+1), there was a decrease in neutral attitudes (24%, -6) and an increase in unfavourability (32%, +6) towards the Labour leader.
