Sky News to broadcast Labour leadership debate

Sky News is to host a live televised leadership debate between the candidates contending to become the next leader of the Labour Party.

Labour MPs Rebecca Long Bailey, Lisa Nandy, and Keir Starmer are vying to succeed Jeremy Corbyn, who became Labour leader in 2015.

Sky News is making the special 60-minute programme which will take place on Thursday, 27th February at 8:00pm, in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.

The debate will be hosted by Sky News presenter Sophy Ridge in front of a live studio audience drawn from across the United Kingdom. Sky News is working with Survation to provide a fair and balanced audience for the event.

We are very keen that people from across the UK are represented. Audience members who would need to travel long distances or have specific access needs selected to attend the event will have reasonable expenses incurred reimbursed.

If you would like to be part of the studio audience, please complete the following short questionnaire.
